Box Lacrosse Ages 5 - 16
Semiahmoo Minor Lacrosse offers an opportunity to play box lacrosse for players residing in South Surrey - White Rock, BC. Our association catchment is South of 40th Avenue, West of 196th Street.
As a team sport activity, box lacrosse is very manageable for players and families. It's financially affordable too. Commitment to lacrosse is normally 3 to 4 events per week, which includes practices and games. Box lacrosse season begins to roll in mid-March and continues through June. For older teams participating in a run to Provincials, the post season will extend into July. In addition to the regular season schedule, teams may elect to participate in a weekend travel tournament.
If you're new to box lacrosse, check out the Lacrosse Parents and Players Guide (CLA). Plus, here's a handy Equipment List detailing all the gear your player will need to get started.
