This year for the first time, female box lacrosse was played at the North American Indigenous Games.  Semiahmoo Minor Lacrosse can be proud to know that we were represented at the NAIG in this historical event.  Emmery Borg, Mattea Shima, and Callison Foreman from our Provincial Silver medal winning Female Midget team were part of Team BC and we could not be more proud of them.

 

Emmery, number 4 in blue, was named team captain for Team BC and took part in the ceremonial face off for this inaugural game.  Even though Team BC lost to Team Ontario 8-7, they played hard and fought well keeping the score close.

Team BC went on to bring home the bronze medal.  Well done ladies!
