We celebrated a fantastic ’24 season at the AGM and Awards Night. Players, coaches, referees, and volunteers were honoured for their contributions and achievements.

Award Winners:
• Male Player of the Year: Dash Toporowski – Recognized for his outstanding team skills and leadership.
• Female Player of the Year: Remi Rattenbury – Celebrated for her dominance and determination on the field.
• Male Sportsmanship Award: Garreth Anderson – A true role model of respect and fairness.
• Female Sportsmanship Award: Kate Paul – Honored for her dedication to good sportsmanship.
• Team of the Year: U11 Girls – A hardworking and united team with a remarkable season.
• Referee of the Year: Nick Bodo – A fair and dedicated official respected by all.
• Coach of the Year: Bryan Poole – A mentor who helped his team grow and succeed.
• Volunteer of the Year: Katie Mikitika – A dedicated volunteer who made a big difference behind the scenes.
• Alex Benson Memorial Bursary Award: Hannah Black – Graduating member, having demonstrated a high degree of commitment to the Association as a player, coach, referee, or volunteer (feature picture).

The evening ended with applause and excitement for the future of Semiahmoo lacrosse. Congratulations to all!
