Last evening’s official Semiahmoo Minor Lacrosse Association Annual General Meeting for the 2022 season went off without a hitch. Quorum was immediately reached and past minutes were motioned and accepted in typical fashion.  Each of the executive members submitted and provided colour to their annual reports.  New business reflected operational protocol and elections to replace vacating executive positions.

After successfully completing a 3-year term, association President Colin Snyder steps down and immediately fills role as Past-President. Calling for nominations, Mark Betts accepted and was swiftly acclaimed as our newest Association President; a 2-year term.  We welcome Mark to this position and we look forward to his continued support of ROCK Lacrosse.

Sue Alfawicki, has successfully completed her term as Association Secretary. Calling for nominations, Mike Rich accepted and was swiftly acclaimed as our newest Secretary; a 2-year term.  We welcome Mike to this position and we look forward to his support of ROCK Lacrosse.

Furthermore, our Association Head Coach Michael Lonsbrough has completed his assignment and will step down. Michael’s efforts in this role were outstanding and we will miss his contributions to Rock Lacrosse.  President Betts will be calling for volunteers to apply to fill the Head Coach position.
