2021 Season Begins: Important Practice Information & Schedule
Hello Semiahmoo lacrosse players and families,
Please read this entire message carefully. It contains all the information needed for this weekend
Welcome to the 2021 Box Lacrosse season. Practices are starting this weekend (March 6 & 7). We will be conducting practices rain or shine.
Please review the COVID safety guidelines that NEED to be followed by every player, coach and parent:
- Prior to arrival, please complete the health check on Teamsnap
- 25 maximum people in the box (22 players, 3 coaches)
- All participants must keep a minimum distance of 3 meters from each other at all times
- No sharing of water bottles or equipment
- All gear must be worn at all times
- No spitting at anytime
- Masks must be worn when the player/coach is off the field of play (out of the box)
- Players must be dressed prior to practice and all gear bags must be left in their vehicle
- No games or scrimmages
- No contact or contact drills will be permitted
- No sharing goalie gear
- Participants should arrive at practice no earlier than 15 minutes for check in
- Check in will consist of attendance verification, temperature check and hand sanitizing
- Once the practice starts, no participants will be allowed to enter the playing surface
- NO spectators are allowed
If your child has any of the following (PLEASE STAY HOME):
- Unwell symptoms (fever, nausea, cough, difficulty breathing, feeling confused, sore throat, diarrhea, body aches, loss of smell or taste, tiredness or fatigue)
OR
- Been in close contact with a person with confirmed COVID-19 within the last 14 days
OR
- Returned to Canada from any country within the last 14 days
Semiahmoo Box Lacrosse Schedule (beginning March 6 & 7 until further notified):
The practice times are listed below. These times might change as our player registration numbers increase. At this time, we DO NOT have teams. They are just practice groups. If the PHO regulations relax and we start to play games then we will create teams. Most divisions will only have one team. In divisions with more than one team, we will create tiered teams (ie, A, B, or C). This is a requirement of the BCLA.
Please arrive at your practice time no earlier than 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. The only equipment required to be worn is helmet, gloves, stick, mouth guard, cup/jill.

9:00 – 9:45 Co-ed Mini-Tyke (2015, 2016)
10:15 – 11:00 Boys Tyke (2013, 2014)
11:30 – 12:30 Boys Novice Group 1 (2011, 2012)
1:00 – 2:00 Boys Novice Group 2 (2011, 2012)
2:30 – 3:30 Boys Peewee (2009, 2010)
